I'm looking for input on campgrounds in the Branson area. We are taking our grand kids there in a couple of weeks. We have stayed at the KOA which was ok but there seems to be other choices and we would appreciate any input.
Thanks

Skipper look here. There are quite a few posts already up on Branson. I sure others will also give you the latest info.

There's a few listed in the iRV2 Campground Reviews section.

Hi Skipper,
I've been to several CGs in Branson and the KOA is my top pick. It is close to the strip (easy drive to/from shows). The CG is an easy in and out for big rigs. My review is in the CG section of iRV2. I also reviewed a couple of other CGs. Some not as good and some okay. When I go to Branson, the KOA is where I will stay.

Thanks to everyone for their input. Looks like it's KOA for this trip.

Skipper, since you have stayed in the KOA, you know ab out that one. IMO there are many that are better. We like Cooper Creek, right on Lake Tannycomo with plenty of shade and good fishing. It is very close to the strip also. I have never stayed at the KOA but have driven through it. Cooper Creek is big rig friendly.

We just got back from Branson and we stayed at the ABC camp ground and it was very nice and clean. We have a 45 footer and had no problems getting around the camp ground. Also you are close enough to Branson, yet far enough not to be bothered by all of the traffic.

By the way, had a GREAT time, lot of neat shows, however it was HOT! I think the next time I go it's going to be in the Fall.
