We will be heading to Branson, MO this fall and would like some information on campsites / RV Parks in the area.

There are some on lakes and they look interesting...anyone been to: Branson Lakeside RV Park, Cooper Creek Campgrounds or Waters Edge RV Park?

KOA suited us fine earlier this spring. Close, rate were competitive and the place was clean.
Be sure to see the show "SIX". Six brothers who go non stop for the whole show. Be sure to go down to the old part of Branson and walk around. Also the new river walk area.

This is the only place we stay. YMMV.

Well I'm a bit biased/partial to "Compton Ridge" myself. Went there as a kid with my parents, went back while Cathy and I were on our honeymoon, later with our kids (A few times) and most likely again with our grandkids. (If I live that long )

The same family owns it now as when I went as a kid. Just the second and third generation are doing the day to day running of the campground now.

Ya want lots of shade???? Well that's the place! (And just about any other thing you could want too)

Branson Lakeside. Right on the river and out of all the traffic. Watch how you get there. Exit on the THIRD right from in the roundabout. Don't go thru town.

Branson Lakeside RV Park has our vote. We stayed there in March, it's clean, easy in and out, right near the water, and the campground hosts were great !

You might want to check out Musicland RV park. It is right in the middle of Branson near all the shows. We stayed there and were able to walk to all the shows we wanted to see. There are a lot of trees so Satellite reception can be a problem in some sites.

Indian Point Corp of Engineer park right next to Silver Dollar city. You can make reservations on Reserve USA and check it out. Nice sites with a lake to cool off in. There is also Shoals Bend it is a Jellystone Park campground the is nice.
