I don't know if our post had anything to do with this thread, but it promises to be a huge one. To reiterate, the Santa Fe Brewing Company, which is across the highway from the (excellent) Santa Fe Skies RV Park, is a real treat.
Someone mentioned Red Hook, in Seattle, a superb tour with tastings.
Cool stuff, and I can hardly wait to install the app in DW's iPhone.

If I may add, if you visit MI at least in the Traverse City area try the Mackinaw Brewing Co. Great place to eat and have a few brewskies. If Marco's tending the bar hang on for a GREAT time. As mentioned there are numerous wineries in the area as well with Chateau Grand Traverse leading the way. Have fun hope you can visit the area.

Easley Winery - Indianapolis, Indiana
Welcome to Oliver Winery
Here are links to a couple more great central Indiana wineries. Easley is also a great resource for home wine and beer making, for those that make their own

There's also a very good brewery in Everett, WA - good enough that Costco stocked their beer for a while. It's called Scuttlebutt Brewery and is on the Everett waterfront, just north of the Navy base. In addition to excellent beer, they have what is (IMHO) the best Fish and Chips on the west coast.

The Great Northern Brewing Company in Whitefish, MT. I like wheat beers and they had a Huckleberry Wheat that was go good I bought a case.
Grand Teton Brewing Company in Victor, ID where I had to try the Workhorse Wheat.

The hill country of Texas has many good winerys we used to visit on our trips there. However, we found a place in Fredicksburg, TX that has all of the local area wines where you can taste as many as you would like. Sorry but I don't remember the name but it is on the main drag and should be easy to find.

Hubby enjoyed Founder's in Grand Rapid, MI. He is a dark beer fan, and they had lots and lots! Great food, and just a really enjoyable spot to spend an afternoon.
Thanks for the beer app suggestion--just loaded it!

The Okanagan area, Penticton, Kelowna, Naramata have great wineries
Vancouver Island is home to some really good micros and new wineries.
In the Chautauqua area of western New York state may I suggest Merritt's and Woodbury's Wineries. I really enjoy going to these when I get to the area.

There's also a brew-pub in Anacortes - The Brown Lantern in the 400 block of Commercial. Should've remebered that one since I live in Anacortes!

The Potosi Brewing Company is located in Potosi WI along the Great River Road and is home to the National Brewery Museum (bet you didn't know about that). It has been beautifully restored and has very good daily food specials in addition to great beer. Try the Cave Ale, see:
Potosi Brewing Company
for more info. Nearby is a COE CG, Grant River. It is along the banks of the MS River and sites are $16/$18 ($8/$9 Golden Age) and most are on concrete slabs with 50 amps and shared water. Only downfall to this park is the trains, but I would return.
RV Park Reviews :: Potosi, Wisconsin ( WI ) - RV Parks and Campground Reviews
The Grotto in nearby Dickeyville is a must see if in the area and Dubuque IA is a short drive away.
