Brown County fall camping.

Camped at Bay Shores County Park this weekend. It's about15 miles north of Green Bay Wisconsin on Hwy. 57 North. I LOVE FALL CAMPING,no crowds, lot's of sites to pick from, and no bugs. Spent Saturday in Door County just a short drive up Hwy. 57,Took in the fall colors and checked out Lake Michigan, drove over to the other side of the County and checked out the Bay. Was a great weekend and now were back home. Jim

We like fall camping too! We were just out the weekend of Oct 18 & 19, but now with the temps falling into the 20s at night we decided it was time to winterize, so no more camping this year for us. I'm not confident in our motorhomes ability to withstand freezing temps so as soon as it starts to dip into the upper 20s at night we blow out the water lines and add antifreeze. How low can it go before you start to worry about freezing up?

Easyrider got one more weekend to camp. Going to the State snowmobile meeting a Stevens Point this weekend, will be camping in the back parking lot at the Holiday Inn. All the rooms are sold out so I park the MH in the lot while I attend the meetings,Saves me the money and get to sleep in my own bed. We will winterize it and put her away, get the snowmobiles out of storage and wait for snow.Sad day when we have to put the MH away for the winter. Jim
