Hi,

We are planning on spending next winter in the Brownsville area. We would like to find a nice, friendly park for a few months.

Any input would be very helpful. There are so many it is hard to make a decision.

Thanks

Here is another source of info for RV parks in the area. Friends of ours stay several months each year at Sunshine RV Park and highly recommend it.http://www.rvonthego.com/Rio-Grande-Valley-34-7.htm

RV in the RGV lists nearly all RV parks in the RGV.
For more information go to the South region of irv2.com. The Texas Boomers are a large group of irv2.com members. Our moderator (Madame Boomer) and 2008 wagon master for our annual rally can give you a wealth of information, hopefully she will have a bit of time to respond to your questions. First you must decide on the amenities you desire of a RV park, second is price range. Then you can make a choice.
This year I did not make reservations. I plan to just drop in a RV park for a week to scope out the rest of the RV parks in the area, then stay there for the duration.
