We're headed for Buffalo area (Amherst, North Buffalo) this Easter weekend 2005. Dumb, huh? At any rate, the 2 RV parks on Grand Island don't open until April 1. Anyone know any place we could park for 2 or 3 days? All we need is 20 amp, but we will probably need that. Thanks.

The ONLY park that is open in this area is Darien Lakes State Park. The open loop is Loop A and there is electric hook ups. Water is either from the pump spigots or bath house. If going to the Amherst area from there it will take you abut 30 minutes (give or take). You can call the park directly at ( 585) 547-9242.

PS Not too dumb to come to this area!

Thanks for the tip. Also found out the Royal Motel in North Tonawanda has rv hookups and is open. That's what we'll try, with Darien as a backup.
