Cahokia RV Parque?

We are to be staying at the Cahokia RV Parque in Illinios June 2016. Has anyone stayed there? I know it is close to St.Louis and is urban in nature. Any heads up would be appreciated. Will be staying in a MH. Thanks for any info.

Was there last month passing through. Use I255 to SR3 not I55 like I did.

It would be a good place to stay for seeing St Louis. The restaurant is very popular with the locals.

I live in St. Louis... I would prefer this CG over St. Louis RV park, that is in downtown St.L. The only other CG I would recommend, is staying at the Casino Queen, they are set up for RVs. We have stayed at the Queen, and DW worked down the street from Parque, had a great lunch there many times.

We tried the Cahokia park one year and found the sites and the electric poor. Perhaps they've been redone.

For visiting we always stay at Edmund Babler State Park - huge sites with lawns, a huge park, in general - good biking riding, and easy access to the highways going into downtown St. Louis.

You could also try Sundermeier RV park in St Charles. It's located in a quaint historic district with easy access to all St. Louis attractions

I have to say one day at this “campground” was enough. As I was just passing through. Liked the food though.
