I think it is at the fairgrounds not a dad place allot to do Thar you wont need the dish I live in napa

We stayed at the other end of the valley in December but drove up to check out the fairgrounds in Calistoga. I think it would be fine. No resort to be sure and I don't think there is a staffed office. Pretty open, gravel area and as I recall it seemed that a dish could be used in many of the spaces but it was December and the leaves had fallen.

Our group stayed there one weekend. Golf Course, auto show on the fair grounds, lots of room to run the dogs.

Fun area to visit.

But...we heard that when the auto races are on, the campground gets a bit rowdy for us old folks.

Ok so we just got back from Calistoga and I will give it a 6 out of 10...
Would we go back again ?? Yes we will but you need to be ready to spend some cash Calistoga Wineries are $$$$$$$$$$ but fun my favorite was Sterling lots to see nice place good wine but the best I thought was Silver Oak....Hands down the best wines I thought
