Does anyone have any information on either Bond RV park or Camp Las Vegas? Any information such as whether they are clean, have full hook ups, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Just a suggestion.
Try the Las Vegas on-line web site. They have a ton of links to campgrounds. Many casinos offer special rates on folks playing at the casino.
Do not expect much "peace and quiet" in a Vegas campground. There will be folks coming and going all night long . It is literally the city that is awake 24/7.

We stayed at the Sams Town RV park last May. good clean facility with everything you would want right there. If you want more, they have a free shuttle to "the strip"

(edited to correct Sams Club to Sams Town)

We stayed in the municipal parking lot in back of McDonald's across from the Mirage for two nights. Cost us five bucks a night, but we got a free night when I gave the attendant a bottle of my homemade maple syrup. (On all my trips I always bring a gallon, never know when it will come in handy for thanking folks or just to share with nice people we have met).

There is a pretty good campground very close to the strip at Circus Circus. About 30 bucks a night depending on site location and size and full hookups. Silverton also has a nice cg as does Oasis, but not as close as Circus. The CC is lots of blacktop and parking, but can handle any size rig and seems pretty secure with fencing.

Hey Grandpaw,

Is this Sams Club RV park a real park or are we just parked in Sams Club lot like folks do at Wall-Mart? If it's real are there more of them and how do we find out about them?

Sams Town Hotel & Casino on Boulder Hwy. is a very nice RV park. They actually have two RV parks with full hook ups and level gravel sites. The facilities are very clean and it is quiet. Security patrols through the area constantly. With cable TV the cost is about $21.00 a night. I stayed there and will go back again. Did well in the casino also.

I goofed in my post not Sams Club but
Sam's Town !
Sams Town is a large casino with all the facilities you would expect in Vegas, with a nice clean RV park right next door

Agree with Grandpaw. LV has been a 2X per year vacation for nearly 20 years. Since retired last 3 years have gone 4 times in MH. Last time was at Sam's Town and will stay there from now on. Price is right, people are nice, facilities are as good or better than the best at any other location in US, and, if you have toad, can get to strip in a few minutes or just spend time at Boulder Highway casinos, to include Sam's Town. They have some nice restaurants as well.
