Camp ground recommendations.

Recommendations in the Cherokee/Maggie Valley of a North Carolina. Will be on a 34ft class A.

If you wanted to stay in Cherokee there is only one place that I know of, it's the KOA. Maggie Valley has more choices, but it depends on what you're looking to do and what area(s) you'd like to visit. Cherokee is closer to Smokies NP, but the area is crowded with casino goers and tourists. Maggie Valley is spread out but a longer ride to get to some other popular places like Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
Given a choice I'd probably stay at Stonebridge Campground in Maggie Valley.

We've stayed a number of times at Happy Holliday, in Cherokee, a bit farther west/south from Maggie Valley on 19 (although I don't take 19 to get to it - I stay on highway 74 to 441, north to Cherokee and highway 19, then just a couple of miles back to the east. Much less white knuckle in a big rig/toad combination that 19 between Maggie Valley and Cherokee).

From Cherokee you'll have ready access to Maggie Valley as well as Smokey Mountain National Park - one of the entrances is from Cherokee.

Creekwood Farm in Maggie Valley. Right on the river, super clean. One of our favorite campgrounds

I'd also see what others said at Reviews of RV Parks and Campgrounds - RV Park Reviews
