Camp Gulf Destin FL

The wife and I have been down in Destin Florida staying at Camp Gulf. We've been here almost two weeks and love it. Friendly staff, awesome campground right on the Gulf, and plenty to do in Destin. Highly recommend this place if you've never been here. You can stay right on the beach with your motorhome as long as you don't have a dog. If you have a dog, you can stay one row in and any other site. I am staying on a pull through that has an 80' concrete pad. Very nice view of the ocean from the front window.

We are heading down for 4th of July week. We love that place!! This will be second year staying on a beachfront site, can't beat the views....pricey but worth to us once a year.

We stayed there once several years ago in a travel trailer and really enjoyed it. Taking the motorhome there in August this year. It's going to be so hot. We have a dog and will stay back a little ways from the ocean in the shadier site. Can't wait!

We just got back to Fort Wayne, IN today. Had a great time in Destin and we have already decided we are going back. We planned on being there for a week, extended our stay another week and almost stayed for a third week!! The work campers are really doing alot of upgrades on the campground this year. They poured another 80' slab next to my spot and trucking in white sand for all of the open areas between the slabs. The work campers presence was seen all day and the Beach Patrol (On their Golf Carts) always friendly and willing to take you to the beach if you were walking. They even took my Dog Diesel for a ride! Campground was super clean, organized, friendly and worth every penny. Destin is a great area with plenty to keep you busy.
