We spent the last 5 days at Camp Hatteras in Waves,NC. We has a site almost at the water - just had to take the steps over the dune to the beach. Very nice campground!

I totally agree. We've spent the last 2 Memorial Day weeks there. Worth the drive from CT.

We were there during 9/11. Although it was a sad time in our nation's history, the beach and the campground are great. I would love to get back there but it's quite a drive for us. September is a great time to be there.
