In a weak moment, we signed up for Campclub USA membership being pushed by Good Sam. Got a nice book, basically a Woodalls special edition with Campclub info built in. Bad news is, most campgrounds listed don't offer the discount between May and September. Many only offer one night stay discount and of course all do not honor on weekends. This membership is definitely not worth the money. Wish we had stuck with Passport America which is better but still not great.

Others in Florida don't offer discounts in winter. Too many restrictions for me. We got put in crummy sites a couple of times. I'd rather pay full price or get the Good Sam 10% and get a decent site. I won't renew.

Passport America always saves me over $200 every summer.
Use a couple places in Florida in May & September for one night stops.

I have always wondered how it compared to Passport America. I wish I had gotten a Passport America lifetime when they still offered it. We saved over $100 in 1 week with PA in June.

They still offer it every once in a while.
Just in the last month they sent me a email offering it for a short period.
I emailed them back that I already had it. And to check their records.

I got a email back that they made a mistake and was sending it to all email addresses they had on file.

It depends on what you want to use it for. I use it for my overnight stops on a long trip, getting from point A to point B. By the 3rd night I have paid for my membership and all the rest for the year are money savers. I can call ahead and guarantee a spot for the night. Which gives me "peace of mind"!

We had Campclub America but found it to be more restrictive than, and heavily overlap with Passport America. We never fail to pay for our PPA membership very quickly each year.

We use Camp Club USA but find that most of them are way off the beaten path or have too many restrictions. We have used one Campground on a number of occasions that accepts the discount which makes the membership worthwhile.
