I am looking for campgrounds in the North Carolina mountains that offer either seasonal campsites or storage/setup. Does anybody know of campgrounds that offer these options? I know of a couple, but want to find out about others.

A lot of the campgrounds offer the storage but don't advertise it. You really need to call the campgrounds in the areas you are interested in and ask.

You may want to research Racoon Holler outside of Jefferson, NC. Their website does not do it justice. Pretty nice place.

Hi dharris0665,

I agree with jayco304 about Racoon Holler, have stayed there 2 times for Appalachian Campers Rally's! Also I am not sure if this has changend or not, but when I was there they did not take any credit cards, payment was cash or check! Hope this helps and enjoy where ever you end up!!

According to their website, Raccoon Holler still doesn't accept credit or debit cards.
