First of all, we have never stayed in this area, but here are 3 places for you to check out:
Riverview RV Park & Campground (Good Sam) on US 34, 6 miles W of Loveland, CO. 800.447.9910, riverviewrvpark@aol.com

Carter Valley Campground, from I-25 & US-34, W 11.5 miles on US-34 then S 0.5 miles on Carter Lake Road. 970.663.3131

Fireside RV Park & Cabins, West of Loveland 3.5 miles on US-34. 970.667.2903 firesiderv@earthlink.net

Up until 3 years ago, we went to Colorado every summer. There aren't any campgrounds in Boulder. We've stayed at Riverview and it was nice. We stopped at Carter Valley once, but were not impressed. and Fireside is basically a small motel with RV sites, which are small. We stayed at a Yogi Bear Jellystone CG (800-722-2928) on Rt. 36 in Estes Park, which is really nice. There are quite a few campgrounds around Estes Park, but the nicest are Spruce Lake RV Park (800-536-1050) and Elk Meadows CG (800-582-5342) which are both off Rt. 34. You will need reservations in Estes Park as they fill up fast. Good luck and enjoy. Wish we were going!

You're going to find most campgrounds at least 20 miles outside Boulder in any direction. Golden Co is just to the south of Boulder, about 20 miles on hiway 93. Its closer than Loveland and easy access off I70. Here is my choice for that area:

www.dakotaridgerv.com

Be sure to have a reservation at that time of year.
