We are going to Tucson, AZ in May.
I would really appreciate some info on a Good park there. Anyone know of a park with Large spaces, big rig, or long pull thru' , easy to get to from I-10, and clean ???
I have heard of Cactus Country RV, Has anyone stayed there or heard about it?? I did not find anything in the Campground review.

Check out Beaudry's RV Resort at I-40/Exit 264 on the east side of Tucson. It's really a nice place to stay at least once. It's a little pricey, unless you happen to hit one of their discount days. About $37 per night, but 10% if you are a Good Sam member. It's best to call ahead for reservations-877) 694-9176. Be careful though they have a bunch of brand new motorhomes on display surrounding the Resort main building.

Check out Voyager RV Resort. There again it is rather pricey but they have all the amenities on site. 100' X 30' pull thrus, cable wifi and instant on phones and full hookups.
Once you are in the park, you don't have to leave except to do some sight seeing.

I highly recommend Tombstone Territories. Most highly. They now have Wi-Fi (get the password at the office). It's closer to Tombstone, but it's still close enough to Tucson. The price is right. I just stayed there in March and was very impressed. If you're PA, it's 50% off. We are and paid $12.75. They also charge for electricity; however, they are very good about it. They tell you it will be about $1 to $1.50 a day. For us, it actually it was just a tad over $1 per day. The staff is fantastic.
I'll be doing a campgrond review with pix very soon...

Thanks for the replies! I would rather hear from someone who's "been there" than to just look up a name. I also like some pic's and lots of great places don't have them.
Webster:
I am going to check out the Tombstone park.Looking forward to your pics!
My daughter lives in Tucson and will be spending alot of time with new grandson!
Appreciate the replies---

A little pricey but extremely nice was our experience with Beaudry CG. If you are military Davis - Motham(sp) AFB has a CG also...

We stayed at the Voyager RV Resort in Tucson last August during a trip out west. It is a great place with facilities including a restaurant on sight. They run a special rate-1st night free w/2nd night stay so that helps with the price. We would stay there again.

We stayed at Cactus Country this past January. Nice clean friendly park but close sites and NO pull throughs. When we were there almost all of the sites were occupied by snow birds. Nothing is within walking distance of the park, it's out in the desert. We stayed there only because they would store our toad while we went to Mexico.

Here's a good website for campground reviews from fellow campers. http://www.campgroundreviews.com
Several in the Tucson area.

I'll add my 2 cents worth on this recommendation, especially if you play golf. They have a nice little, relaxing 9 holes there, priced very reasonably.
