Campground like Ocean Lakes at Gulf Coast

I'm spoiled! I've been an Ocean Lakes (Myrtle Beach, SC) fan for a long time but I now live closer to the gulf coast. I've been on the hunt for a campground with all the amenities and beach access as Ocean Lakes but cant find it. I'm in Alabama so I don't want to go much further past Panama City Beach. Any suggestions appreciated.

Topsail State Park sounds like what your might be looking for.
Here's a review I did of it for another site:

Thanks Yarcola. I've looked at both and although they are nice, they are quite a distance to the beach as you described. They are probably my first choice on the Gulf Coast at this point, but was wondering if there was anything better.

I don't know what kind of amenities you need but Gulf State Park, Gulf Shores, Alabama is very nice. Big sites, full hookups and close to the beach. In the winter you can stay there for months at a time. Nice town and restaurants, too.
