Sorry I was not clear. Want to stop about halfway to fort bragg for a night so we do not have to drive the entire 600 miles in one day. Was hoping to spend a night south of san franciso. We are taking the 5 freeway. Any suggestions? Thanks

On our way to Eureka from the LA area we stay at Kitt Fox in Perterson. Perfect for us. Will actually be there this Thursday overnight.

We prefer Flag City near Lodi. Passport America park. Both it & Kit Fox are right off the freeway. Multitude of services at the off-ramps.

whaley1 - It is always helpful if you would add your rv and tow(or toad) to your signature. Others will use that info in preparing their responses to your future questions.
By the way, we live in San Clemente and love it.

To the north of San Francisco is Santa Rosa Fairgrounds on 101 for a reasonable stay. Then go to Ft. Bragg from there. It would be right on your way and you'll start out fresh in the morning after having gotten through San Francisco the previous day.

Mark,

If Kit Fox doesn't work out then I highly recommend Alameda Fairgrounds RV Park. Large grassy pull-thru's and very quiet.
