campground near akron

We will be coming up from nashville to visit the rock and roll hall of fame and friends in Akron Ohio.From there we will head east to Gettysburg Pa.Are there any rv parks near Akron that can be recommended for a 2 night stay.

X2...I work in Akron and your choices are somewhat limited. This is a good campground if you want full hook-ups. There is also a really nice state park campground called West Branch nearby as well. They have a few full hook-up spots but getting one might be a little difficult. Either choice is good.

There is also a few nice campgrounds in Amish country but that will be a 45 minute drive to Akron and well over an hour to Cleveland.

Statesboro KOA is a nice facility, but you need to check on all the extra charges when you reserve so that there are no surprises. They tried to charge $5 a head for our two dinner guests.

We do not plan to stay there again.
