Try Houston West RV Park. Home Page I've stayed there and it's very nice. It's on the west side of Katy. For something on the east side try Trader's Village Traders Village Houston / A Texas-Size Marketplace . It's nice too and has a flea market on the weekends. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at either place again.

There are a few other places occupied by permanents that I would not recommend. The above two are OK. The only thing I have heard about Trader's Village lately is that you don't leave anything out that is not chained down unless you want to get rid if it. Things can grow legs and wonder off.

Stephen F. Austin State Park just down I 10 near Sealy is very nice. They have pull throughs and I believe full hookups.

SFA State Park is one of our favorites in the area.

I suggest you do as I did. Take your coach into camping world for some routine work. While waiting take a look at the new coaches. Did you know they let you stay at their campground while you move all your stuff from the old coach to the new coach! And its free!!

Not interested in a new coach when I have the best right now.... If they have sites to rent, that might be something to consider... just need good spot to stay at...

We like SFA also. Easy in & out. Very friendly staff. Far enough from I-10 to not hear any road noise. There is an adjacent golf course if interested.

I recently stayed at the Houston West RV Park. The people are friendly but I had family business in Katy and did not use the facilities much. It is just off I-!0 but up on a hil so I never heard the noise because I was over the hill so to speak. Electric was a reliable 50 amps, water good and sewer hook up easy to get to. The park was clean and mostly inhabited by fellow travelers like myself. I flet safe and secure.

We stayed at the Houston west CG on our way to the valley. A lot of commuters camp/stay there.
If you're just passing through and don't mind the traffic in the CG, it's a good stop over.
