High Falls State Park about 20 miles south of McDonough has good ratings in RV Park Reviews. Like most state parks it lacks on site sewer connection but does have 50 amp electricity.

Stayed at the KOA in Forsyth, Ga which is 29 miles away. All facilities. The back side is nice for big rigs and no traffic noise. I75 exit 188

There is a nice RV park, full hook ups just 40 miles south of Atlanta. It is called Forest Glenn and does not advertise. I have stayed there and liked it. Quiet and easy in and out, pull throughs. It is primarily a trailer park, but you do not even see the permanents, they are in
another section. The price is very moderate. About 1/2 mile off I-75.
