Campground near Mobile AL

Can anyone recommend an RV park with good proximity to I-10 near Mobile? It will be an overnight stay, so no interest in local attractions or amenities. Just want a well-maintained, safe spot to sleep. Actually, any place along I-10 in Mississippi or Alabama will be great. Thanks.

Also, can someone recommend a good campground directory or online information source? Thank you.

IMO, campgroundreviews.com is the best website for campground reviews.

We stayed at Shady Oaks last week and it was nice. I think it was $22 for 50 amp full hookup

If you come another hour East to Pensacola I can recommend this place - very nice residential neighborhood and about a mile from I-10:

I-10 campground 1-10 exit 13. Not much to look at but is about 1/2 mile from interstate and a 25.00 rate. We stay there when we are visiting inlaws in Mobile.

If you are close to Spanish Fort or Daphne, AL you might try Meaher State Park. You can see it from the I-10 bay way on the old causeway. Also Not far from the Battleship Park . Great little park on the bay, quiet and convenient. You might even get to watch the alligators.

Rvparkreviews shows this CG to have pull-thru sites? Is this correct?

Yes it does. It is right on the Causeway - easy access to I-10. Felix's fish camp is great place for lunch or dinner. So are other establishments on the causeway - tacky Jacks, Blue Gill, Ed's Shed. Yummmy

There is also a Walmart in Daphne, Al and a Bass Pro in Spanish Fort if you really just want a place to park and sleep. Both "free"!

Thanks, Debbie. My original post was from 2 years ago, so we have already been there/done that. I appreciate the updates, though.
