Campground near Tulsa, Oklahoma?

Anyone know of a decent, non parking lot style RV park near Tulsa, Ok? I am from there but never needed an RV park. The last time we went we had to stay at Keystone State Park, about a 50 mile drive from south Tulsa where my family lives. I didn't want to put that many miles on Ricky again--the tow vehicle. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

BTW can anyone tell me how to make a signature line with my info? Thanks.

Yeah I tried this. Apparently they just don't need RVers through that part of the state. Very distressing not to even be able to go home without so much trouble. All my family lives right in neighborhoods so no chance to just park in the driveway. I'll keep looking.

There shows to be an RV park in Jenks called Green Valley Estates. It's across the river but is south. Says their website is under construction but they do have a phone number.

There's also one called Mingo RV Park which is north but closer than Keystone.

Mingo is not as nice as it was years ago. I would not stay there.

Cherry Hill Manufactured Home Community in Tulsa, OK
We were at Cherry Hill about 3 years ago and it was pretty good.

Otherwise, you can go to Pryor and stay at Green Country RV and Mobile Home Park.

Tulsa just does not have an abundance of RV parks.

There is a KOA in Claremore that is next to a casino with easy access to the turnpike gate for you to get to south Tulsa pretty quick.

Realize this is an OLD post, but wanted to let you know that my half sister & my niece live in Tulsa. My husband & I have a big rig and we stayed at Mingo RV Park May 2011 & again Sept 2013. It was very nice & quiet. Evidently there are many people living there who work. We also stayed at Cherry Hill in Sand (or Sandy) Springs on our way through Tulsa May 2012. It's newer & we really liked it, but it's a bit further away.

I'm still checking since my family lives in Tulsa it will always be a place I will need to go. The problem is we don't want 'parking lot' places when we spend a week or two. I know beggars can't be choosers but the Mingo RV Park as well as the Tulsa State Fair campgrounds are parking lots. We pulled into both once and then left after getting a refund. That year we then wound up at Keystone State Park in the trees. It was beautiful but since it was a whole 30 minute drive nobody would come out there. (Being from Houston we have no problem driving 75 miles to Galveston occasionally just to have dinner on the beach, and we routinely commute 45 minutes one way--at least--for work.) Mingo RV park would be closest to my mother and if worst come to worst may have to do that. Thanks for the input everyone.
