Campground or State park right on Clearwater area Beach

Hi,

Just Bought a new RV! Looking to go to Clearwater FLA this summer and want a good place for the kids thats right on the beach.

Any ideas? I dont mind if there are no hook ups, but I am really hoping to be right at Ocean. Destin Beach has a great place but I am not going that far north.

Thanks

Mr. Brownstone:
Hi. We visit the Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater area quite a bit and other than Fort DeSoto State Park I sure don't know of a beachfront RV park along that gulf shoreline.

DO check out the Fort DeSoto RV Park. It has quite a few sites right on the water and is a beautiful spot and not far at all from St. Pete Beach and Clearwater.
