Campground recommendations

Looking for some campground recommendations for the winter in AZ or NM. Looking for clean and cheap ones, yeah aren't we all. Just got our RV and want to get away from the IL winters.
Thanks

Hello MadDad, We winter in Casa Grande, AZ at Palm Creek. Its not the cheapest, but it has so much to do and all the folks are really friendly. We stayed at cheaper places but they had nothing to do and we where just bored. Just remember the old saying, you get what you pay for. Good luck in your search because there are many places to chose from.

Try Desert Gardens in Florence AZ. Great spot in the Desert with great amenities and very large sites, We go there every winter for several weeks.

New Mexico can be very cold in winter. Go for Arizona.

What price range were you thinking of? The longer you stay, the cheaper it is.

Deming NM has an Escapes park and a couple others that are very reasonable.

We spent a couple weeks last winter at Desert Shadows in Phoenix. It is in north Phoenix. We chose this location to be close to relatives. It was clean, quiet and the people were friendly.

We also spent a couple weeks at the KOA in Tucson. it was a very well maintained dog friendly campground. No activities to speak of, but we didn't mind!

Good restaurant there. Next door to Lazy days Tucson so be careful; you might find a new rig you just can't resist. However, if you do go over there, say "hi" to Jerry Edwards for us.

Very reasonable but don't expect southern AZ temps. Being from IL, you might like it fine. We are from south TX and find it a little cool for us.
