Site spacing at Musicland Kampground in Branson is fairly good (we probably had 35-40 feet from the side of our coach to our neighbor, some sites were closer together), lots of trees there and with most of the lanes having rv spaces at their level only on one side it makes them feel even bigger, just getting in and out can be tight with the hillside.
As to Dubois, we spent 2 nights at the Longhorn RV ranch there on our way to Yellowstone in the summer of 2017 (it gave us a chance to do laundry, etc. before heading into Yellowstone), where we then stayed at 3 of the campgrounds in the park (Grant, Canyon, and Fishing Bridge). Longhorn RV ranch is a nice spread out commercial rv park with a small river flowing by it, though I am not sure how kid friendly it is. We drove across the pass to Grand Tetons and back on day 2 there, then back again on day 3, which was ok as it is a scenic drive, but 2 days of it is enough. Be warned though there is little in the way of provisioning options in Dubois, just one small grocery store which is not RV access friendly and with only basic grocery items.
