Campground - Sockeye & Mt. Heyburn Campgrounds at Red Fish Lake

I spent several days at the Glacier View campground at Redfish Lake in the Sawtooth Mountains near Stanley Idaho for a wedding and as much fishing as I could in the nearby Salmon river. There are 7 campgrounds near Redfish lake 5 of them surround the lake. Both the Sockeye and Mt. Heyburn campgrounds are lakeside.

In this video I take you on a tour of the Sockeye and Mt. Heyburn campgrounds at Red Fish Lake in the Sawtooth mountains of Idaho.

I am particularly fond of Sockeye but it can be hard to get into. I was there post season so there were plenty first come sites.

Since the government is shutdown I can't get the recreation.gov links. I'll update with them when the site is back online...

Thanks for watching

Nicely done, TR! You gained a sub. We stayed at Glacier View this past summer, and although I'd rather be boondocking we very much enjoyed our stay.
