Campground Suggestions near Charlottesville, VA

Heading north next week for about a month with stops in Virginia, PA, DC. The only reservation we made was for Cherry Hill near DC. Our plan is to head north on I-95 and then probably head west on I-64. I want to stop about 3 nights within 30 miles of Charlottesville and cannot decide on a campground.

We will be heading up I-81 to Mill Run, PA to visit Falling Water after our Virginia stop. Suggestions for about 3-4 nights in that area will also be appreciated.

From Mill Run we will be heading east and may or may not stop in Gettysburg. We spent a week there several years ago and saw almost all there is to see except it was blinking cold! We might stay for a couple of days to see what we missed as we rushed around trying to stay warm.

We are still trying to work out if we will have time for the Amish country or perhaps up to Valley Forge, so many choices and suddenly so little time because we arrive in DC on 11/2.

Suggestions appreciated. Since most stops will be 4 nights or less, full service is not a requirement. I've been looking at RV Trip Wizard but they are all starting to blur.

Big enough, DH, me and the greys!

Well let's try the Mill Run area of PA. Anyone ever been to a campground or state park or other facility within 30 miles?
