Campgrounds around Chicago,IL

Please provide names of campgrounds you like within 50 miles or so of Chicago, IL. We plan to go there for about a week, but are having trouble finding a campground with good reviews. thanks for your help.

When our daughter and family lived in Chicago we always stayed at Leisure Lakes CG.Joliet, IL It is at the SW corner of intersection of I80 and I55. Very clean, spacious sites, and quiet even though you can see the interstates. For dry-camping, I don't know if the casino at Joliet still has a CG, you'd have to call and ask.

I have used Paul Wolff campground every August for the last six years. It is possible to take a train from Elgin into Chicago. Or just drive in on the toll road.

I'm a little late, but here's another suggestion. Indiana Dunes State Park. Right on Lake Michigan. Commuter train station at front of the park for easy way into town.
