Campgrounds Between Birmingham and Memphis
We are leaving Wednesday from North Georgia to visit Memphis Tenn. Planning on stopping for the night somewhere around Birmingham or possibly a few miles NW of there. Does anyone know of any campgrounds off I22/ US 78 W between Birmingham and Memphis? Doesn't have to be fancy, just somewhere to sleep a few hours. Thanks!

Don't know the area but check RVparkreviews....It will also give you choices around the areas your travelling too.....hope this helps.

We like River Country in Gadsen Ala.. It is in a fork between two rivers, great view.
Mississippi has some really niced State Parks.

I have traveled that way several times. I haven't been able to find camping between Birmingham and Memphis. Twice I have stayed at Lakeside Marina and RV Park, on Hwy 231, ~6 miles south of I -20, ~ 20 miles east of Birmingham. This is a great place to camp!

Near Memphis, we always camp at the Hollywood Casino a RV Park. It is the best casino camping we have found.
