Campgrounds between Jacksonville and west Augustine Fl
Does anyone have any recommendations for a campground somewhere between Jacksonville and St Augustine? We have a wedding to attend in the fall, and are taking the rv so we don’t have to leave or board our dogs.

BETWEEN the two, I don't believe there are any - at least none that I can think of right now. St Augustine has a half dozen or so, as does Jacksonville.
In St Augustine, without checking RV Parky or anything like that, I can think of North Beach RV Resort, Compass RV Park, Ocean Grove and Anastasia State Park.
The state park will almost certainly be booked, but give it a look.
North Beach is not MY idea of a 'resort', it's not paved, LOTS of trees, very woodsy - perfect for us.
Compass RV Park is clean and neat and the folks there are very nice.
I've only driven by Ocean Grove, but it looks nice enough from the road.
In Jacksonville I've only been to Hanna Park, which is in north Jax, so may put you on the wrong side of town. It also is a very woodsy park, not a resort at all.
I live in Jacksonville and get to St Augustine fairly often, feel free to PM me if you have specific questions you'd like answer to.

I've got a reservation at North Beach RV Resort as part of a post Thanksgiving Florida trip. Per night price is a bit higher from what I'm used to but the Navigator demanded campground with beach access that was dog friendly.

Sweetbriar, we really like North Beach, it's very much our kind of place.
Just don't go in expecting a 'resort', it trees and sand. That's the kind of place that we prefer, as opposed to the high falutin places that *I* think of when you say 'resort'.
A short walk across A1A to the beach, and a couple of good restaurants withing walking distance. (actually A1A is a busy road, it's more of a scurry across the road than a walk ). If you'll have a toad you're also close to St Augustine for meals or a to make a day of it.

Anastasia SP is my first choice. We stayed there in May and loved it. We took our bikes and it is an easy 4 mile ride to the downtown area and Castillo de San Marcos.

North Beach is just a few miles North of St Augustine and a short walk to the beach. Many of the homes along the beach have been condemned after the hurricane in 2017. Much of the beach was washed away when we were there last Fall. The campground seemed to come through the hurricane ok, with beautiful sandy sites and lush vegetation, mostly intact. There is also a nice pool area. St Augustine is about a 4-5 mile bike ride (if you don't mind biking across a big bridge). The town itself did not seem to take a direct hit from last year's hurricane. There is a restaurant adjacent to the CG that was very good. There is also direct access to the bay, which added to the park's attraction.

No expectation of such. The next stop is the resort - Home - Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort

If interested in a campground in Jacksonville, you might try Flamingo Lake RV Resort on I-295. They take good care of the place.
