Any recommendations for a campground for a three or four night stay around Seattle?

My favorite spot near Seattle was Tall Chief RV Resort at Fall City WA. Formerly Western Horizon members only park, it is now owned by ELS/Encore and reservations can be made thru Reserve America (for a fee). There are no sewer hookups and satellite tv setup can be a real challenge at most sites because of the surrounding pine forests. However, it is a beautiful setting....and most importantly for me, it is a five minute drive to Costco and Trader Joes in Issaquah and very convenient for day trips to Seattle and the surrounding area.
I haven't stayed there since ownership changed, but some of the online reviews indicate that it is still a good place to stay.

Hi Bill
you may want to try Vasa Park
we found it by accident and is very convenient for getting into Seattle
site 17 is right on the water - most enjoyable
regards, pdq

I'll be watching this. We plan on going to San Francisco next month with a stop in the Morrow Bay area on the way up.

Make sure you allocate time for the Oregon Coast - there are lots of State Parks on the Coast and most of Oregon's State Parks are outstanding - my favorite in Beverly Beach which is one of the best State Parks in the Country. This time of the yr you won't need reservations in Oregon or Washington.
