Campgrounds between Savannah Ga and Charleston SC

My husband and I are planning to go north from Fort Lauderdale FL some time in late February-early March. We have a 38' fifth wheel and are hoping to get some suggested campgrounds that may be between Savannah and Charleston. We look forward to your suggestions.

Hunting Island State Park near Beaufort is big and right on the water. Some loops are tight to get through but they do have some sites near the water that are easy to get in. Have a nice beach, ligth house and free fishing pier.

This summer on our way to and from Maine, we stayed at the Pointe South KOA , just for overnight... very convenient to the interstate ,easy in/out.

You might try here: Hardeeville RV
It is closer to Savannah, only about 5 or 6 miles out of town. They do not have a pool, but their hook ups are convenient and wi-fi is excellent. All pull thru sites, and they are a PA park.

This is on Hilton Head which is next to Savannah. It's a wonderful spot to spend time.

Camp Lake Jasper

Just outside of Hardeeville right off I95.. easy in and out.. We stayed here 5 nights in May while there for our grandsons wedding. It is a new park so the trees have some growing to do but it had large pullthrus and good wifi and cable.
