A couple things, Glfpilot. If you don't have reservations for this weekend, the construction question is probably irrelevant. My other suggestion would be to call the park for a construction update. BTW, its a great park.

The construction shouldn't affect the park. Bear in mind, the park is very close to and directly on the approach to DFW airport. This is a very busy airport.

We were there about a year ago. There was construction then in the area going downtown. It was doable. The campground is great and Grapevine is a fun place to visit.

I was there in October and Novemeber no problems at all. The CG is completely redone and their prices reflect that. Just pay careful attention to the road exits as they keep re-routing traffic in that area, for the highway rebuild. I think the best approach is from Bass Pro Drive, off of 121, just north of 635.

Yes it is under the flyway of the DFW. In our motorcoach it does not disturb us, in our previous travel trailer which was pretty decent quality, we heard jets a lot of the time.

This is still a great park with lots to do in the area and there really are not that many parks that close in. We also use Cedar Creek SP and some other parks on Lake Dallas, but they are all further away and not nerely as nice for a large coach.
