Campgrounds in Mt. Vernon , Washington

We are looking for a campground in the Mt. Vernon area to camp. Any suggestions?

We stayed at Sheldon lake in the summer time. It's north west of Mt Vernon i think, less than an hour away. Even though we were close to the road we were backed right onto the lake . Parked our butts in the water for 4 days and was great.

Bayview State park is about 12 miles away, on the east shore of Padilla Bay. Deception Pass SP is about 22 miles - west then south on SR20. There's also Pioneer Trails RV park (where the NW group had its meet & Greet last fall) , just south of where SR20 turns South and the spur to Anacortes goes on westwards.
