We stayed at Summersville Lake Retreat Campground, Mt Nebo, West Virginia 26679 back in March. I would recommend it. Only draw back not all sites are level. We are going back in a week for a stop over.

We camp at West Virginia state parks a lot and find them to be nice. We especially like Canaan Valley State Resort Park. Lots of hiking in the warm season and in the winter time a great snow ski area, both cross country and down hill. We were there with 2 1/2 feet of snow camping this past winter.

We stayed at the Flatwoods KOA Sutton, West Virginia Campground | Flatwoods KOA in Sutton at MP57 on I-79. Nice place behind the Days Inn, where you actually check in at, and on the other side of the interstate is a Pilot and some factory outlets. We had some time to kill so we drove around the area to the Sutton Dam, as well as the outlets and the area seemed to be pretty nice.

Check out the exhibition coal mine if you're going through Beckley West Virginia they have a small Campground above the Hill from them which they own. Price is good people were nice go through the exhibit you'll love it. Tell them you're camping there and you get a discount. Be aware it is on the hill. No flat ground hardly at all. And definitely a steep climb. Into Campground. Nice place though really nice people.

Where in WV? I've got 4 in my photo albums. With that size RV, you can fit in anywhere.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

X2 on Pipe Stem State Park. Great park with lots of things to do! I would recommend taking the lift down to lodge if you visit.

Bluestone State Park is not far from Pipestem St Park (@10mi) and it is also very nice. It is on the water.

Mountain Creek is the restaurant at the bottom of the lift is only open in the summer but it is amazing! An unexpected treasure for this area and worth the expense. Pipestem also has golfing, horseback riding, activities for kids and other activites.

We don't live far from Pipestem and Bluestone

As others have asked - what area are you looking at? Most State Parks and COE campgrounds do not have FHUs. Electric, water, and even wifi are widely available, but sewer comes in the form of a dump station on your way out.

Summer's County has some really nice camping available. We just got back from a week long stay at Little Beaver State Park. Most sites are pull through with gravel though some are paved. The bath house was spotless (I don't use them but check them out anyway).
The park is divided into two sections- one has water and electric, while the other is electric only.
It is also only six miles from Glade Springs Golf Resort which is awesome to play and has the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen (the 16th hole on Stonehaven is amazing).
