Campgrounds near Homestead Fl.

Has anyone wintered near Homestead Fl. We have a granddaughter who lives in Homestead and would like to winter near her next winter. I found two on the internet: One in Florida City (I think it is a state park) and the other is Southern Comfort. Any words of advice on either of these or any other.

Hi Paul,
I think the reason there are no replies is because there is not much available. I have these suggestions:

1. Goldcoaster Mobile Home & RV Resort 305-248-5462.
2. City of Florida City Camp Site & RV Park 305-248-7889.
3.The Boardwalk Motorhome & RV Community 305-248-2487

I have never been to any of these CGs. You, most likely, know this, but I need to say it. Reserve now for next winter. These places are very full every winter.

Woodall's gives Goldcoaster a 5 diamond by 5 diamond rating, their best.

Boardwalk has a 4 X 4 rating from Woodall's. I seen better ratings than they have in Good Sam's.

Last November we stayed two nights at the City of Florida City Campground while visiting the Everglades. I would not care to stay longer than that. Only stayed there because of the price and location.
