We will be traveling home from FL panhandle back to Maine in November and would love to stop for a couple days in Nashville or close by. Something that would offer a shuttle to Music City and the Grand Ole Opry would be a plus. Anyone have any favorites? Nance Really going to be dragging our feet heading home to winter!!!!

There are a couple CG on Music Valley Drive. We go there a few times a year to visit my daughter. We always stayed at the KOA, but it has gotten a little run down and they seem more concerned with booking tours than taking care of the CG..
We now stay at the Yogi Bear, which is almost next to the KOA, very clean, nice sites and friendly staff. Music at night if you are interested and Linkspot WiFi. Camping world is between the two CGs.

If you decide to go here let me know and I'll tell you how to avoid Brierly Parkway. It's under construction and a mess.

I agree those are decent and convient campgrounds. Have not stayed at the KOA recently but it used to be decent. You can also spend a nice evening at the Opry Land Hotel it is/used to be very nice. Great indoor garden area with entertainment, free, felt you were sitting outdoors but no bugs.

Here is a review with lots of pics of the Holiday - Nashville park we stayed in. You will have to scroll down thru Tim's Ford SP first. It takes a bit to load. Also included a campground map.
