use google maps, zoom out to the general area you wish to land at, and enter search 'campground' or 'rv park'. You'll see many options pop up. Clicking on one of the points or arrows will show you the details, name, address, website, phone number, etc., and even other camper reviews.

all of us have a different view of what 'nice' means. some of us can accept conditions that others wouldn't care for, and vice versa. some want more amenities, while others want almost nothing but nature. some like a place near town, others want it as far away as possible, with no camping neighbors nearby either.

what does 'nice' mean to you?

Look at Branson MO. Lots of campgrounds in the area. Table Rock State Park is nice

I live in Mountain Home AR. Lots of great places around here, most are State Parks or COE Parks. Bull Shoals White River State Park is beautiful. On Lake Norfolk, try Robinson Point.

In Branson Table Rock State Park is OK, and lots to do/see in Branson. Be sure to eat dinner at College of the Ozarks -- very special.

We are planning a trip to Arkansas in October. Planning around a reserved week at Bull Shoals / White River State Park. I'm looking for a couple other places to stop. Interest are fly fishing, kayaking, mountain biking / hiking.

Buffalo River? Hot Springs? Any thoughts?
