Sorry. Lake Horn Jellystone. We tried all the campgrounds around the area. This is the best.

We usually take the kids and go to Memphis at least once a year. We stay at the KOA in West Memphis. It is the typical KOA you know what you are getting. Plus you get to drive over the river every day you go into Memphis and the kids like that. The kids also like Graceland, they ask to go each time. The zoo is really nice as well.

If you don't mind the drive, there is a nice U.S.Army Corps of Engineers campground 35 miles, (36 min), south of Memphis, (near Coldwater, MS).

HERE: Corps Lakes Gateway: Mississippi - Arkabutla Lake

Hernando Point on Lake Arkabutla, just South of Hernando and North of Coldwater, MS. Real good campground, no drama. Lived in Memphis growing up and found on my NUMEROUS return trips the commercial CGs around Memphis had too many permanents and drama when returning to visit parents and family.

It is out of the way but nice area to visit and accepts access pass!

We just got back from Memphis. We chose to stay at the jellystone rv park in horn lake ms. It was a great place to stay if you have small children. Pool was clean water slides and a park. Paved roads and concrete pads well kept yards. We did travel to Tom Sawyer sp and its right on the mighty Mississippi river. Not alot to do but staff was friendly and let us tour the cg. Not alot to do for children so if you dont have any would be a great place to put your feet up and watch time go by. Both were close to memphis jellystone maby a little closer 12 min to the zoo.
