We are here at Campers Village/Lighthouse Point in Sandusky,OH at Cedar Point Amusement Park. We headed down after school today from about 170 miles away. We pulled in about 9:00 after stopping for dinner and to let dh stretch his legs.

The kids are REALLY excited about spending all day at the park tomorrow. There are MANY rollercoasters and Halloween themed attractions.

The campground seems nice from what I have seen it the dark. Totally paved and level, nice landscaping and trees, clean bathrooms and showers. There are lots of rules and it is much more expensive than a typical campground, but that is because of the location. We are at the back of the amusement park behind the big rollercoasters. We even have our own entrance. The campground is located right on the bay too, so the water is all around us. The kids and I went for a walk this evening to the nice pier and there are bunnies everywhere.

I'll report more of what the campground looks like tomorrow when I can see more of it

Shannone,it's been a good while since I've been there but I do remember the campground was really nice and while it is a bit more expensive, there are so many benefits to being right at the park.
We had previously stayed at two of the campgrounds that were in the area and neither was as nice and/or convenient as the Cedar Point CG.

Hope you guys had a great time!
