any ideas where to camp at South Padre other than the KOA

South padre island, would not consider county
park next door. last fall, myself and family, myself and 4 family members with rv's arrived, had prepaid reservation and was told rates had been raised. explained that ours was prepaid. was told basically tuff. pay the difference or go somewhere else. " we are county gov do not have to explain our policy to you' county gov at work. previously been staying there over 10 years. mosquitos in shower, you could ride.
Dscussion with park/county police about going wrong way. Ha to show him that to pull out of the space had to go this way. grumbled something as he was walkng away that i was lucky that he was just giving me a verbal warning, as opposed to saying he screwed up.
know my familys business will not break park but go to rio rv last 2 times.
