Camping at The Delaware Seashore State Park

The Delaware Seashore State Park at Indian River inlet is being completely redone, both on the north and the south side of the inlet and will reopen in the spring of 2014.

The website has a link to a map of the new layout.

Have you ever stayed here 66? Interesting to me as we are looking for new places to go near the ocean this summer. I see some full hook ups?

The last time I was camped there was in the '80's, but it's greatly improved.

Some are full hookups and this campground is the closest to the ocean in DE or MD.

We stay here a couple of times a year and love it. Just concerned if they will be open in June.

what I want to know is when reservations open! I usually book in dec for june but not this year.

see my wife likes to be at the beach on her b-day in june. I like to be prepared for one of the only days I don't want to screw up!

We stayed there last year for a week. The CG is pretty basic. The main attraction is the ability to walk to the beach and go fishing. Ocean City, MD is about 40 minutes south. Lots to do there. Rehoboth which is about 10 minutes away north has a boardwalk where you can spend money on junk food. The CG has full hookups.
