Camping at the Las Vegas Mtr Spdwy

I think I'm going to pull the trigger and do the infield camping for the March Las Vegas NASCAR event. It looks like it would be fun, gotta try it at least once. Driving down and a couple buddies meeting me there. Parking is $800.00 for the week, plan to pull in Thursday night, leave Sunday night or Monday, whenever I can get out. Anyone have experience with infield camping. For the $800.00, you get a bunch of stuff, so it's not that bad when divided between 3 guys. Wifey wanted to go, but I just don't think she would enjoy it. 1 night maybe, but 3 or 4, that's not going to happen.

Even though we have lived here for many years and we're not into NASCAR, we've never tried it, but I have had friends over the years, one who he and his buddies, rents a class A, do the Speedway every year and swear it's the best time they ever had. Best of luck and enjoy your trip.

I pulled the trigger, got a $900.00 spot, hope it pays off.
Should be fun, looking forward to it.

One place you might want to try while you are there is the 1st. class "Bare Bones" RV park at the Clark County Shooting Complex which is located less than 10 freeway miles from the Speedway. It has 80 full hookup (30&50 amp) 120'X25' pull throughs. Killer sunset and sunrise mountain views plus aerial night light panoramas of Las Vegas. ONLY $20 per night!! Best Kept Secret In Las Vegas.

I've been doing the RV thing at LVMS for all but two years of NASCAR has been there. But never the Infield. Friends have told me that spaces are narrow not enough to open an awning all the way, no hookups but plenty of other amenities . I like the Bull Ring spaces they are 40" x 20'
and paved with asphalt. been there for the last 8 years or more, can't remember. Have fun. Oh yes it will be better if you get there on Thursday lines will be long.
