Camping by Augusta Ga

We are at Petersburg campground West of Augusta Ga. This is a beautiful COE park. Huge sites. The hosts are super helpful and polite. We will be back annually. Have fun RVN

I just went yo look at some pictures for the campground and only found two. This message was at the top of the page too.

Attention: Due to beetle infestation in the area and subsequent hazard tree removal, the landscape in and around Petersburg Campground has changed dramatically.

We have been camping at Petersburg regularly since 2010. We are only about 10 miles from there so it is our weekend getaway place. We love that the sights give you lots of privacy, has a boat ramp so we can launch out jet ski, and has the trails (Bartram Trail) through the woods that you can hike for miles. Happy Camping!!
