We're currently at the Palms RV Resort in Yuma. Temp 84 tommorrow and 90 on Friday. Plenty of RV parks to stay at in AZ, as there are 76 parks in Yuma alone. We're headed to Lake Havsau in two weeks.

This is our 1st winter in AZ. We are at the Maricopa Regional Park at White Tank Mountains. We arrived Oct 15th and it rarely has gotten below 70 since we've been here. Going to be in high 80s this week. We volunteer here and camping is free. We are basically 20mi West of phoenix.

Any hook ups there, or just dry camp?

I'm getting a great list for my travels to AZ, thanks everyone. I don't think I'll have a hard time finding something warm and from the looks of it something beautiful down in AZ.

Will be heading for AZ next Thursday (2oth) from NETX. If weather holds as predicted I will head to Phoenix via I-40 staying probably at Oasis west of Amarillo (20th) then to possibly Meteor RV near Winslow on Friday. I-10 is always option on this annual trip in late Feb. Appears wind will be some issue either route on Friday but I stay at Pioneer RV on north side of Phoenix for event so time wise from home I-40 works best not to mention how hard it is now to find vacant RV CGs on I-20 around Midland/Odessa/Pecos (oilfield work).

Anyone stayed at Meteor RV of recent? I have stayed at USA at Gallop a couple of times and although very nice it can get noisy with nearby trains and airport runway.

The Parker strip along the Colorado River is very nice lots to do and warm, lots of campgrounds, also the Lake Hasvasu area is nice. Happy travels.
