Camping in Lancaster,Pa

We are looking for your favorite place to camp in the subject area. We plan to
be there on July 14-18 and would like to park in an area that is central to the
local sites. We will be in a 38' MH with tow vehicle.

We live near Lancaster and one of the nicest in the area is Lake in Wood Resort. www.lakeinwoodcampground.com Not sure what local attractions you are interested in, but this is pretty centrally located.

Old Mill Stream Campground is about as central as you can get. It is in the shopping district, directly behind Dutch Wonderland amusement park. Be prepared for traffic and ask for a pull through.

Mill Bridge Village is a little bit more upscale and has a covered bridge and an exhibit of the Plain lifestyle incorporated into the Campresort. This campground is near to the Strasburg Railroad.

Spring Gulch Was always one of the kids favorites. They have an upper level, two pools and a lake. Big but a little off the beaten track.

Lancaster County has many camping spots but these are our favorites
