bar harbor really not very pet friendly. no dogs over 35 lbs except certain breeds, of which labs are included but you can only walk the dog straight to the dogwalk and back nowhere else because walking my dog will make the other dogs in the other campers bark?????????????? not going there. any other suggestions?

cast-a-ways has a very nice "bark park" and beach area for pets.

I'm headed to elk neck next weekend. Can you park a MH at the parking lot for the lighthouse our do I need to bring the toad? I think it is 4 miles from the campground.

You would probably be better off using your toad unless you have a fairly small MH.. Depends on how many folks are using the parking area on that given day.
