Hidden Ridge, Hopkins, MI. Great park just below (South of) Gr. Rapids.

I have not stayed in any CG south of Grand Rapids, though I did just spend the better part of a week doing th parking lot shuffel in Berrian County.

There are a number of parks around there.... The one I wanted to visit would not honor my membership (Different branch of the company) .. All I can tell you is Enjoy.

Or, I did stay at American Campgrounds Spring Lake Resort (They honor my other membership) Nice but.. Well, they are improving it and I was there a touch early in the season.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Hidden Ridge is nice, I've been in there a few times with some friends who were staying there. It's only 4 minutes from my house.

I will also give a nod to Hidden Ridge. Very nice park, in fact we will be there this weekend. There is another newer park in the South Haven area, I believe it is called Sunnybrook. Supposed to be another high end park, but I have no personal experience there.

What specific areas of SW Michigan are you interested in? Lots of campgrounds and resorts to choose from here. The parks I have mentioned are RV Resort parks, they do not allow tents or pop ups. You didn't indicate what type of unit you are traveling in, or what kind of camping you desire. SW Michigan has everything from high end RV Resorts to primative camping. Give us a bit more information and maybe we can be of more help.

My review & pics on Sunnybrook. Just a few miles from Lake Michigan & very nice as well. Class A's can park on the pond-front sites. If you can get an improved site (one someone has purchased & added landscaping/patio/cabana...etc. they rent out when they're not there) those are especially nice. I really liked the sites 85-93 as they back to a treeline.

Outstanding in what way.

Eden Springs Park in Benton Harbor. Near all the beaches and city life, lots of golf courses within minutes and boat launch to Lake Michigan 5 minutes away. Was real popular with the PGA last week so expect it to change faster. Lots of golfers and officials stayed there
