Camping locations Ocean City MD?

We are bring our 11 yr old granddaughter to the ocean in late July or early August of this year. We are looking for campgrounds in the Ocean City area that would be recommended for enjoying the ocean and other activities.

I've camped (tent) at Assateague St. Park. Very nice, just over the dune from the ocean. Some electric sites available, very peaceful. Just a couple of miles from the OC boardwalk and amusements. The wild horses are neat to view.

We've haven't been there yet but a few friends always recommend Castaways. The campground has there own beach area.

I recommend frontier town campground. Lots of activities and close to OC.

Hope I did the link correctly.

Also - Try Barbelys in Newark, MD for good home cooking. Only open for supper a few days a week. Reservations are usually needed.
